 Report On Inauguration of Earn While You Learn Project

On 13th August 2024, Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women, Olarikkara, Thrissur, inaugurated the Consumer Club as a key addition to its student-led initiatives, directly tying it to the ongoing 'Earn While You Learn' project. The ceremony, held in the college's multipurpose hall, featured a warm welcome by Vinisha B and an introduction by Principal Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul, who emphasized the club's role in educating students on consumer rights, responsibilities, and informed consumerism. The event's highlight was the symbolic painting created by the esteemed guest, artist Ms. Pratheeksha Subin, which underscored the club’s mission to inspire creativity and critical thinking.

A notable aspect of the Consumer Club is its direct involvement in the 'Earn While You Learn' project, particularly through the college canteen, which serves as a practical learning environment for students. The canteen was officially inaugurated by Principal Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul, marking the start of this student-led enterprise. Through this initiative, students gain real-world experience in consumer behavior, budgeting, marketing, and ethical business practices, making it an invaluable part of their education.
