CANTEEN REPORT
REPORT ON EARN WHILE YOU LEARN PROJECT
As a part of earn while you learn project Natural Science option got the first chance to manage our college canteen in 20 working days. We started our first canteen work on 30-08-2024 Tuesday. The canteen inaugurated by our beloved principal Rev. Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul and resource person Pratheeksha Subin. Each day we ordered different kinds of snacks and also we prepared healthy homemade snacks in every day which include pazhampori, unniyappam, kinnathappam, kozhukatta, ullivada, parippuvada, muttabaji, bread roll, kesari, chicken roll and cutlet. We saled these snacks at reasonable rate. On everyday we share our menu through brochure to the college groups. Each and every student teachers of our class helps to maintain the canteen. On 19th day of canteen we conducted a biriyani fest in our college. We saled 65 chicken biriyani and 8 veg biriyani. The last day of canteen we bring homemade snack unniyappam. We are handing over the canteen in-charge to English option. Without the support of our beloved Binitha Teacher, we wouldn’t be able to fulfill this responsibility. Her guidance and encouragement were truly extraordinary. Running the canteen was a valuable experience that equipped us with essential skills for future careers in education we developed management skills by effective planning and organization handling daily cores. We improved our ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts with peers and customs. Collaborating as a team taught us the importance of trust and supporting one another. We learned to identify customer preference and adapt our offerings creativity. We maintained a book for the proper management of accounts. We also kept all our bills safely. After 20 days of canteen we got a profit RS 1931.
