Report of Canteen (Malaylam Option)
The Malayalam Option student-teachers successfully managed the college canteen from November 8, 2024, to January 13, 2025, total 20 working days, as part of the "Earn While You Learn" project, under the exemplary guidance of Ms. Binitha P. Chacko, whose inspirational leadership played a pivotal role in our success. We prepared and sold a variety of homemade items, including Pazhampori, veg cutlet, ada, unniyappam, ariyunda, bajji,banana cutlet, kappa, unniyappam, ela ada, parippuvada, bread toast, kaya bajji, poriyunda, salted pineapple, ariyunda, along with the collaborative efforts with Chinoos Bakery (Olari) who supplied other Snacks. We designed an attractive brochure showing our offerings and effectively promoted our products on daily basis. Through experiential learning and practical application, we acquired invaluable learnings in task delegation, planning strategies, collaboration, marketing, financial analysis, crisis management, critical thinking, decision-making, and accountability. The highlight of our project was "SNACKS BOX," a fest held on the last day. Effective teamwork helped maintain accurate accounts, resulting in a total profit of rupees 1918. On January 14, 2025, we handed over canteen charge to the Mathematics Option student-teachers.
